Hey you guys!

As you can read on my profile page I'm into ship modeling with a vibrant passion for model submarines. My reason for being here, at angelfire is to seek out or initiate a like minded community of ship modeling craftsmen with whom to share my 3 years experience and also keep an eye on their perspective and knowledge. Be sure to check out this site regularly as I promise to update it religiously. things might seem to take longer than expected to happen but once ball starts rolling it will take on a power of its own. So, I invite you to take part to this quest of our common hobby.

The Use of Turtle Submarine in World War

Turtle submarine is a brown oval shaped wood vessel that is used under water.  This wooden vessel was designed in 1975 by American David Bushnell who was a student at Yale University by then. This was the first vessel that was ever designed. This is the type of water vessel that contains compressed air oxygen that you can use when diving under water.

This enables you to move without suffocation when under water.  It was the first water vessel that was used during world war. It was successfully used by United States of America army against British army. It was especially used to attack the British vessels.  The main aim of its development was to find a way of stopping the British naval blockade during world war two.

It was used by the United States of America military. It was successful as the US attackers could hide under the water and attack their opponents. Turtle model submarines was the first successful world war tool that helped countries like the Untied States of America to successfully attack their opponents. It was such vessels that could be used safely without sinking down.

The fact that it contained compressed oxygen also helped the attackers stay under water for a very long time. Its oval shape also ensured that it moved faster under water without any problem. It was a very tactical way to attack enemies. This is because the attackers could move deeply into the water surface without being noticed by their enemies.

It is a more efficient way to attack enemies as compared to other methods like use of aero planes or vehicles to attack. Unlike other vessels that are known to sink, the turtle submarine is very reliable as its chances of sinking are very limited. It was mostly used to attack opponents’ ships on water. It was used to place explosive devices under water so that it destroys surface ships or other water vessels that the opponents were using.

The explosions existed in mines form. These were placed under the water surface upon which they would explode when opponents’ vessels came into contact with them.  It was very effective way to attack as the enemies could not see them from far.  The use of turtle submarine gave the United States of America a win situation.  Independence war was a very tough war that just required the use of more advanced technologies just like the turtle submarines. It was a very safe water vessel that was used to attack enemies without their knowledge.

It was the most suitable way to destroy the enemies’ ships. This gave United States military a win situation over their British opponents. This under water vessel could carry more than one person and both the divers could still breathe normally. The compressed oxygen was enough to take the divers a long stay under water. The other good thing about the turtle submarine was the fact that the divers could hide under water without being noticed by their enemies.
